Each mouthpiece is produced individually and finished by hand, then play-tested before it leaves the workshop. The result is a piece that responds the way you expect it to — in the practice room, in the section and in front of a microphone.
No production runs. Every piece is made on its own and finished by hand.
Specification is set around your reed, ligature and how you actually play — not from a chart.
Facing curves are cut by feel and verified with gauges, so response stays even across the range.
Nothing goes in the box until it has been played and checked on the bench.

Jeff Siegfried is a saxophonist and mouthpiece maker. The workshop grew out of his own search for a piece that did what he needed it to do — and the conviction that the only way to get there is one mouthpiece at a time, finished by hand and tested by ear.
